The Library of Congress Children’s Literature Center
The Children's Literature Center serves those organizations and individuals who study, produce, collect, interpret, and disseminate children's books, films, television programs, or other forms of materials destined for children's information and recreational use, usually outside the classroom. The Center does not serve children directly

Canadian Children’s Literature Service
The Canadian Children's Literature Service Collection offers advisory, reference, and bibliographic services based on its collection, that includes books written in English, French and other languages which are published in Canada and books written or illustrated by Canadians, as well as books about Canada, which are published abroad. The Service responds to questions made in person, by telephone, in writing, and electronically.

Eileen Wallace Children’s Literature Collection
This is one of Canada's most extensive collections of children's literature, although unfortunately is a non-circulating library. Check the website for interesting information and to find out about the Eileen Wallace Research Fellowship in Children’s Literature, worth up to $5,000 per year.

IFLA Section of Libraries for Children and Young Adults
This service of the International Federation of Libraries Assocations and Institutions (IFLA) aims at promoting international cooperation in the fields of library services to children and young adults, and encouraging the exchange of experience, education and training and research in all aspects of this subject. The Section's concerns include the provision of library services to all children and young adults in different cultures and traditions in cooperation with appropriate organizations and to adults interacting with children and young adults.
